Remembrance Weekend Steam Loco - The Unknown Warrior

'The Unknown Warrior' steam locomotive was decorated with poppies for Remembrance Weekend. This was seen by visitors as part of the Remembrance weekend events at the Llangollen Railway. 'The Unknown Warrior' is a new steam locomotive that is being built that is dedicated to the fallen from all conflicts and has been endorsed by The Royal British Legion as the new National Memorial Engine. It is expected to be completed by 2018 - the 100th anniversary of the Armistice, if sufficient funds can be raised to complete the locomotive.
