Volunteering – A Vision for the future

In the heritage industry, the humble volunteer is the lifeblood of many schemes and without these hardy individuals who work often tirelessly and in the face of adversity we would not be where we are today. Without volunteers there will be no heritage railways to take ‘The Unknown Warrior’ on visits.

So far The LMS-Patriot Project has raised money from donations and through our sales stand, with volunteers successfully managing the project. However, the Project has reached the size where new input is needed, therefore new volunteers are needed. You may not have a mechanical engineering degree or perhaps be a business development consultant but you may be able to support the Sales, Administration, or Engineering teams with your efforts.
